Pest control:
frequently asked questions
How long does it take for the electronic
pest repellers take to work?
All methods of pest control, be it trapping,
poisoning or repelling, can take variable
amounts of time to succeed. This is due
to the fact that an infestation of any
kind can be present for a multitude of
reasons. In most cases our customers find
that their pest problem has either fully
cleared or dramatically reduced within
2-4 weeks; however, in some cases it can
take as long as 6 weeks. The Bite Shield
works immediately.
My home is not a detached property,
is this a problem?
It can be. If you live in a semi-detached
home, an apartment, or a terraced house
you may have to consider your neighbours.
Regardless of what pest control method
you or a professional pest control company
employ, you are still likely to suffer
from occasional pest activity if your
neighbour continues to provide an environment
conducive to pest life and reproduction.
There is nothing anyone or any product
can do about this. Pest repellers create
a hostile environment that the pests would
rather not be in and to this end you will
be employing the best way of keeping your
property pest free.
How can I tell if the pest repellers
are working?
Quite simply the pest will go away, but
there are other ways. The units have LED’s
to indicate that the unit is functioning
correctly. You may also experience an
increase in pest activity within the first
few weeks of use. This is due to the effects
of the unit disorientating and agitating
the pests. So hostile will your home become,
that the pests may enter the property
from cavity walls or loft areas, in an
attempt to escape. It is important to
stress that this does not happen very
often.
My PR30-3C ultrasonic units are making
a noise. Is this normal?
Yes, the ultrasonic units make a slight
clicking noise whilst moving through the
varying frequencies. |
