Indeed the emphasis of your pest control treatment should be to control this type of problem rather than aim for complete eradication, as during the cluster fly season there are often more flies ready to replace the ones you succeed in controlling. This said however, our kits and step-by step instruction can now help you to control cluster flies more successfully in your loft, without the need to call in a professional pest controller. The key to success in getting rid of cluster flies is to be extremely thorough. The following is a basic guide for the use of the products within the kit. Step 1 Cover any water storage tanks Step 2 Activate the Strikeback Insect Killing Fogger in the loft. One fogger is sufficient to kill cluster flies in most domestic loft situations, larger lofts will require extra foggers. The insecticidal fog gets almost everywhere and will kill any cluster fly it comes in contact with. Step 3 Once the loft has been thoroughly ventilated, apply a fine mist of Strikeback Insect Killing Spray to areas of possible fly activity, especially where they alight and land. Once dry the insecticide may be effective for up to 4 weeks. Step 4 Repeat every 2-3 weeks or as necessary, until the problem is resolved. Step 5 Use the Strikeback Natural Insect Killing Spray for ad-hoc space spray treatments within the loft or around the home during the period between treatments as described above. (It is perhaps worth noting that the products contained within this kit are also excellent at controlling most other flying & crawling insects including ants, flying ants, bed bugs, fleas and house flies) Comprehensive instructions for use are supplied with all the pest control products.
