The use of throw bag bait sachets is one of the most reliable and flexible methods of rat control. Rats can very easily open the bag to feed on the poison, but until opened the poison is protected by the bag, thus extending the useful life of the product.

Throw bags can be used in the same way as loose grain bait, but can also be used in other area too such as under decking, under sheds or thrust into a rat hole in the ground etc… You can also use the Strikeback Cardboard Bait Boxes which are ideal for internal use and can provide short term use outside. For longer baiting periods or baiting in more sensitive areas we recommend the use of the External Bait Station.

There is a lot of nonsense written about which poison is best. The simple fact is you get faster and quicker results if you use the bait most palatable to rats and research has proven that for rats that food type is cut wheat, they love it more than anything else. On this basis it makes no sense to use a whole wheat bait designed for both rats and mice. Strikeback Rat Killer uses cut wheat as the bait.

The general key to successful rat control is simple, the more bait stations you use the more likely it is that the rats will find and feed on the bait, thus speeding up the time it takes to resolve the problem. To increase the likelihood of bait take use multiple bait boxes and minimise the availability of other food sources.

Plug the Blue Stripe Pest Repeller into the room which you are having the most rodent activity, this will fill the room with ultrasonic sound as well as using the secondry function electromagnetic to keep the whole house protected through the cabling.
