Worker ants are attracted to the bait and carry it as food back to the nest killing the queen and the colony. The ant killer pen is a very safe way to apply insecticide to small areas such as inside cupboards and drawers or under sinks. Finally the Protector C water based insecticide spray is the best amateur grade insecticide we have tested for general use around the home to control ants.
